EXCURSIONS
Excursions depart from and return to the Diamond Bar Center, 1600 Grand
Avenue. Excursions are rated on a 1-3 walking level, where 1 represents
little to no walking, 2 moderate walking, and 3 extensive walking that may
require a moderate level of physical effort.
Refunds will be given only when the Parks and Recreation Department
can resell your reservation to another party. All participants must sign a
city liability waiver before participating in each excursion. For registration
information, call 909-839-7070.
Examples:
Level 1: Navigating a museum
Level 2: Exploring a historic town with cobblestone streets and mild
inclines
Level 3: Trekking through a forest with uneven ground and uphill sections
Inform staff at the time of registration if ADA accommodations are
needed. Availability may vary based on venue accessibility.
COMMUNITY EXCURSIONS
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO LIGHTS – LEVEL 3
Stroll through holiday lights and seasonal displays, with
festive music and the charm of historic downtown San Juan
Capistrano as the backdrop. The excursion includes roundtrip transportation and a snack for the ride home. Dining and
shopping will be at your own expense.

SENIOR EXCURSIONS
THE GETTY VILLA MUSEUM – LEVEL 2-3
Step into a 昀椀rst-century Roman villa surrounded by lush gardens
and explore an exceptional collection of ancient art and
artifacts at the Getty Villa Museum in Los Angeles. A featured
exhibition, "The Egyptian Book of the Dead," showcases ancient
manuscripts believed to guide the deceased toward a blessed
afterlife. The excursion includes round-trip transportation and
a snack for the ride home. Lunch and shopping will be at your
own expense.

A relaxed day at Morongo Casino Resort and Spa, with slot

A great outing for leisure, luck, and good company. The

ride home. Dining and shopping will be at your own expense.
